Over a year ago, @thiswasmajor slid into our DMs. First major project for Stōkt, no pun intended.
By May of last year, version one was ready to ship. Then the project went quiet. Not because they didn’t like the work, because they were victims of their own success. Massive new projects flooded their pipeline. The website moved to the back of their priority list and we understood.
Six months later, they were ready again.
@maxgilberg and I looked at what we had built. We were both unhappy with it. Knowing what their business was capable of, I made the call to start from scratch. Built around a brand new concept and a freshly minted brand identity.
Two websites built in a year. The first one never shipped.
Now, the result is something we’re genuinely proud of, and the community has responded. 7 awards since launch, with more on the way.
This case study is our attempt to present the work with the same level of hype and quality that Major Media Agency brings to everything they do. It’s also a playground for us to push how captivating a case study can be with new technologies.
