A quick FAQ:
1. Do I need a yard? No! The kind folks at @wearestmarks are letting us pop up in their courtyard again!
2. If I’m not quite on the Hill (read: Old City, Trinidad, ???) can I still be a part of it? Yes! You can always pair up with a friend on the Hill, pop up at St. Mark’s or join with your address, but understanding that you may not get as much foot traffic.
3. Do I have to start at 8/9 am or stay open until 12/1? You get to decide the hours! Just make sure you update your entry in your Padlet pin!
4. What if it rains? This sale is rain or shine, and from past experience, nothing deters bargain shoppers on a Saturday morning.
5. Can you organize a sale at another time or date? Saturday seems like the date that works for most folks, but if you would rather see a Sunday sale, leave a ☀️in the comments.

Greg led the painting station of our collaborative mural at last Saturday’s Community Art Build! We love how this turned out! Everyone put their hearts and souls into this piece, a response to the prompt “How do you show compassion to people?” We enjoyed great conversation, laughs, and levity with our St. Mark’s community. Special thanks to our volunteer @salme.studio for empowing everyone to contribute!
We plan to display this piece at a later exhibit at St. Mark’s this summer - stay tuned for details!
Our first community art build at @wearestmarks was an absolute blast! Thank you to everyone who came out to create with us; our wonderful organizer @jandrea914 ; all who donated art supplies; and of course, @forever_lay_williams , @bold_n_art_llc , and @michaeldwoody14 for leading our community projects. Excited to announce our first Beauty Behind Bars event of the year - a community art build hosted by St. Mark’s Church @wearestmarks ! Join us and help create collaborative pieces led by our returning citizen artists, read poetry and view artists’ collections, meet our network of artists, and learn how to get involved in future BBB projects! Community projects will appear in our next extended BBB exhibit - stay tuned for more info!

That's how the cookie crumbles folks! We're happy to report another very successful cookie drive this year.
We delivered 2,300 cookies to 322 CHV members with over 30 types of cookies! And we had 30 volunteers who took the time to help bake, package, and deliver these cookies. An extra special thank you to MOTH, the St Mark’s Youth Group, St. Peters School, Boy Scout Troop 827, and Girl Scout Troop 44133.
