We’re trialling a new delivery system from tomorrow! In partnership with the wonderful @mungosmessengers ! Fixed delivery fee, no service charges, in-store pricing, no distant customer services. And no cars when we said bikes, all orders will be delivered by the power of human legs and maybe a little 🔋 help if there’s tonnes of your ordering. You won’t find us on Uber Eats whilst we run the trial. Come direct and let’s see how much we both love it!

We recently took our staff out for a kimchi making class with @gomokimchi . Safe to say we’ll stick to our day jobs, but we loved the class! Thanks Eddie!

We wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors for Issue 02 of Sandweegies. We feel so honoured to work alongside and celebrate these amazing Scottish-based businesses. We truly wouldn’t be here without you! Show them some love 💞🙂‍↔️✨ If you’d like to discuss any future partnership opportunities, drop us a DM! 1. @sprigg is a salad bar based in Glasgow, specialising in customised, fresh, and healthy bowls. I’ve been going to Sprigg since I was a student - it’s truly an iconic Glasgow spot. Huge thanks to the incredible team for all of your support! 2. @damselbakery is an independent neighbourhood bakery and coffee shop in Crieff. They focus on scratch-made, naturally leavened (sourdough) breads and pastries using local and British ingredients. Huge thank you to Emily & David for all your support! 3. @juno_preserves is a Glasgow-based small-batch producer specialising in unique, seasonal jams, marmalades, and chutneys. Named after their rescue dog, the brand brings a modern twist to traditional preserves with experimental flavours. Huge love to the wonderful Mhari for all your support! 4. @proactivelaser is a tattoo laser removal studio based in Merchant City, offering tailored treatment plans. Jack has been a huge supporter of the mag - big love to him! 5. @maisoncharlemagne is a Glasgow-based fashion house blending streetwear with sharp tailoring. Day 1 | Your guide to the perfect 48 hours in Glasgow, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 If you only have 48 hours to see and do as much as you can in Glasgow, this is exactly what we’d do: Stop 1: @thedevilsroastglasgow Pop in to secure your caffeine fix at this cozy cocktail bar turned coffee house. If you’re visiting on a weekday, they do some amazing takeaway deals where you can get a coffee and a pastry for around £5. We’d recommend sticking around though. The atmosphere is 10/10 and they have some fun specialty drinks to enjoy as well! Stop 2: The Mural Trail @visitglasgow_sco This trail is such a fun way to see the city. Essentially, the mural train is an initiative set up by the city council to help bring art and life to some of Glasgow’s older buildings. Adam and I had so much fun trying to track them down, and you get to do some sightseeing in between too! We just looked up a walking route on Google and went from there. Stop 3: @wearesprigg After all that walking, it’s time to pit-stop for lunch. I don’t know about you, but quality quick-service salad joints are hard to come by in Australia. That’s why we were so impressed with Sprigg. Everything is made right in front of you with super fresh ingredients, and with all your walking, the last thing you want is to feel weighed down with a heavy lunch. Stop 4: @glasgowcathedralofficial After lunch at Sprigg, it’s time to begin the journey to the Glasgow Cathedral. Built in the 1100s, this building is truly awe-inspiring and 1000% worth the visit. Stop 5: The Necropolis Right next door is the Glasgow Necropolis, a Victorian-era cemetery containing graves and mausoleums of famous Glaswegians. We recommend visiting at sunset for beautiful views over Glasgow city. . . . . . #glasgow #scotland #travelitinerary #travel #traveladvisor
