Our industry needs YOU to become a Mental Health First Aider. Nearly 300 people in the entertainment community are now trained Mental Health First Aiders & are certified by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Thanks to the efforts of the Behind the Scenes Charity, the industry now has this program for entertainment professionals and a trainer, Bryan Huneycutt, who is both compassionate and has lived experiences that resonate with those who take the training.
Upon completion, those who take the training will have earned a 3-year certificate as a Mental Health First Aider and be better prepared to aid the community in times of crisis. A big thank you to Behind the Scenes Charity, Lori Rubinstein, & Bryan Huneycutt.
