Hello hello hello! It has been such a long time hasn't it?
Each of the Look Inside gang has been busy working on their solo projects for the last wee while but we are back together for a week of pop up shop fun next week at the beautiful @hy_stonehaven - and we are so excited!!
@magsgrayceramics@annemarquiss@small_stories_scotland@aubinjewellery will be showing their work plus their collaborative Aberdeen collections.
We will be wearing our masks and making the shop a safe space to browse + chat.

Hello there and thank you for hanging in there while we took a little unscheduled break cos of you know what 😷
As some of you may know @wearelookinside is a creative collective made up of four Aberdeen makers @annemarquiss@magsgrayceramics@small_stories_scotland@aubinjewellery and together we talk about ideas, drink tea and when the stars align we design together too.
Our main ongoing project has been to create design led souvenirs for the newly re-furbished Aberdeen Art Gallery which is now open again! Hooray!

Our Limited Edition Aberdeen prints are being sold via @the_makebank project. Their aim is to support kids less fortunate by providing good quality art materials to those with limited access such items. We were so excited by this project that we decided to donate not one but two of our Aberdeen prints! Because we believe what they are doing is special and so so, very worthwhile.

Here is one of our designs that we created to celebrate the much awaited re-opening of our beautiful Aberdeen Art Gallery.
Using the beautiful pink granite facade and the new copper roof structure to create a crisp linear design drawing which we have had printed in a simple colour palette with foiling detail to make the roof pop.
We can safely say it is STUNNING and they have absolutely nailed the marriage of the old and new features. Pop into the new gallery shop to see up close.

We spent a wonderful evening at the preview opening night of the Aberdeen Art Gallery where our new exclusive collection for the gallery is being stocked.
Before we show you our new designs, we'd like to show where the ideas came from. We were very, very fortunate to gain access to the building during its renovation and our brief was to respond to the marriage of the old and new design features and create a collection which celebrates both.

IT'S ALMOST HERE!
We are beyond delighted/excited/chuffed that there will be some new additions to the gallery....... It has been an absolute privilege to have had access to the newly renovated ART GALLERY over the past few months. We were granted a few visits to gather inspiration and research for designing a collection of products for the gallery.
We can't wait to share our designs with you, but first we have some serious packaging up to finish AND a posh do to attend 🥂

Exciting announcement! You may have seen the news that our wonderful gallery is re-opening on 2 Nov 2019. Well we can now reveal that we have been asked by @abdnartmuseums to design a collection of products to celebrate it's new identity.
In order to fulfill this amazingly exciting brief we were given a behind the scenes tour of the building while work was still being completed. And we can confirm that the new gallery is going to knock your Frieda Kahlo socks off!
IT IS STUNNING.
This week we are taking the Aberdeen Collection on the road to Stonehaven! Our pop up shop at @hyvearch is open from Monday to Saturday 10-5pm all this week.
