If you’re still sending out PDF invitations it’s time to get an eye cream.
A little-known service of ours at DISCO is beautiful digital event invitations. But gone are the days of the standard PDF flier. When we were recently approached by
@debeersofficial to work with them on their Desert Diamonds event series we took the classic invitation and turned it on its head - creating a dynamic and engaging CGI film. The brief was simple - desert, and diamonds. As the audience would be examining jewellery via a traditional loupe, we used this as an anchor point to cleverly reveal the information (text redacted for client confidentiality) to the invitees. Ben Thomas of Cape and Monocle (our incredible partner for all things digital art work) created what just might be our favourite short of 2025.
