In Māori, people greet each other with “Ko wai koe” which means “who are your waters?”
We all belong to a watershed & maybe you look @ these photos and think ‘dam das pretty’ but what I hope you take away is that rivers are alive, full of magic, and need saving.

from the italian archives // climbing till our fingers are frozen and bloody, remembering how tiny we are in the vastness, falling asleep to the sounds of wind in the trees, croissants and cappuccinos, cold plunges and carabiners
the green river on film // a week under the sun, rowing flat water, laughing (a lot), deep conversations with friends old & new, and dance floor frogs. big love to @maraviarafts for fueling these river adventures 💛
a creation of different kinds - my liiiife. I’m here to make things that remind us of the beauty inside the storm - even if just a fleeting experience that lives only in the heart (like climbing big walls with bae in the alps, our fingers frozen but gitty for more!).
we are in it - moving through, holding onto the salient things while simultaneously being ok with losing it all. the fires burning in our hills have taught me that, and I’m working to remember that in the path of destruction lies the possibility for creation.
@annihaase in TNF ( @thenorthface ) // going through the archives from this past year and shook by the remarkable people and places we’ve encountered. find what lights you up and share it with the world. 💚
