With brighter, drier weather here, it’s a great time to dry your washing outdoors. Hanging clothes outside on a line or airer helps reduce moisture inside your home, which can lower the risk of damp and mould. Drying washing indoors releases a lot of moisture into the air. Without enough ventilation, this can settle on walls, windows and ceilings, creating the perfect conditions for mould to grow. Whenever possible: 🌤️ Use an outdoor line or airer 🪟 If drying indoors, keep windows open for ventilation 🚪 Keep internal doors closed to stop moisture spreading A small change in where you dry your clothes can make a big difference to keeping your home fresh, dry and mould-free.

Please help keep your building safe and tidy by disposing of rubbish correctly. Always place your waste in the refuse bin area provided. If you live in a high rise, take rubbish down the stairwell carefully: 🗑️ Don’t overload bags 🖐️ Make sure they’re easy to carry to avoid injury 🚫 Never leave bags in stairwells or communal areas Please do not throw rubbish from balconies or windows to avoid the trip downstairs. This can cause serious harm to others below and can block vital fire escape routes if items land in walkways. Taking a few extra moments to dispose of rubbish properly helps keep everyone safe.

Using BBQs, open fires, patio heaters or pizza ovens on your balcony is not permitted. These items create a serious fire risk and can allow flames and heat to spread quickly to other homes in the building. They can also cause series burns by falling embers. For everyone’s safety, please do not use: ❌ BBQs ❌ Open fires or fire pits ❌ Patio heaters ❌ Pizza ovens Balconies should be kept clear of anything that involves flames or high heat. Thank you for helping to keep your home and neighbours safe.

Bikes and batteries don’t belong on balconies 🚲 Bikes, e-bikes and anything with lithium batteries must not be stored on balconies. Lithium batteries can cause intense fires if damaged or overheated when exposed to the sun. Please use your own home or the designated bike storage areas provided. If you need any help, please get in touch.
