That’s a wrap on Google Next 2026. 👋 Six Nexts in, and this one might be the best yet. It was great to see the work we created come to life across the conference. And throughout the three days we got to support our partners capturing social content from the floor too. Plenty more of that landing on social channels soon. But the best bit? Catching up with clients, new and old, face to face. And yes, the puppies. Now the fun part. Bringing it all home and implementing what we have learned with our clients back in Australia. Six Google Nexts and counting. 🎉 Always a thrill to help kick things off, and this year’s Day Zero party was a cracker. Seeing the screens, the visuals, and all the little details we helped bring to life out in the wild was the best feeling. Even better is watching a room full of people enjoy them. Saturday night. Oxford Street. 300,000 people. And a float that literally bloomed. Proud to share our Optus Mardi Gras float, created by the team at Apparent. As part of Optus’s fifth year as a Major Partner of @sydneymardigras , we built a wild, technicoloured garden packed with handcrafted flowers of every shape, colour, and texture that came to life as the parade progressed. A giant “Yes” watering can poured an eight-colour rainbow onto the garden, flowers opened, confetti cannons fired personal messages of pride written by Optus employees and the public in store, and at the top of the float a performer revealed themselves as the garden reached full bloom. All alongside eighty Optus employees dancing their way down Oxford Street. Watching it come to life as the energy built on Oxford Street was something special. The perfect way to close out the “Pride blooms from Yes” campaign 🌸🌈 Huge thank you to our production partners @mnrconstructions @wilsabinentertainment @soundmoda @pabsartist @brendandelahay #WeAreApparent #MardiGras2026 #Optus
