Meet Michelle Small @we.r.qing
A dancer at heart since she could walk, Michelle has always felt a natural connection to movement and music. What started as pure passion has grown into years of dedication, discipline, and constant evolution.
Over the last decade, Michelle has intentionally invested in her craft — building both her skillset and community through organizations such as House Arrest 2 Championship Dance Team, Inc. and Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc. Her training journey has also included opportunities with ATLA Connect Cycle 5 led by Kiki Ely & Sakina Lestage, GuyCode ATL — the dance community YouTube series created by Tony Mincy — and most recently expanding her artistry through Academy Ballroom.
Michelle joined the Groove2Musik Alumni in 2023 with a goal to strengthen her core, confidence, and overall performance quality. Since then, she has elevated her ability to pick up faster, more intricate choreography while learning how to naturally let her personality shine through every performance.
When Michelle hits the stage, she brings undeniable energy, a fun spirit, and a chill demeanor mixed with plenty of attitude. She embraces every challenge head-on and never backs down from an opportunity to grow.
Now stepping into a new chapter, Michelle has returned to the scene alongside Groove2Musik Competition Squad and the return of GuyCode ATL. With momentum building, she’s ready for everything next in her dance journey. 🔥
