Last but not least meet Maggie Cantwell!
Maggie Cantwell (she/her) is an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and aspiring educator from Northern Virginia. She’s known for her bright, bubbly presence and her ability to make even the most random moments a little more fun.
A double major in Theatre Performance and Dance Education, Maggie is drawn to work that lives at the intersection of storytelling and movement. As a passionate dancer, she finds joy in both performing and teaching, and in passing on the tools that were once shared with her.
During her time at Wagner, Maggie has had the opportunity to perform in many department productions as a swing and cover, from Pippin and Plano to City of Angels and RENT. She will always cherish the versatility and resilience those experiences have given her. She is thrilled to be closing out her Wagner journey with Bright Star as Ensemble, Stanford Adams, and Lucy understudy.
She has also been involved in several student-run productions, including Ride the Cyclone (Ocean), Godspell, and The Wizard of Oz. These experiences reinforced her belief that every process is unique and valuable. She has learned so much from the people around her and holds close to how special it is to create theatre with passionate collaborators.
Growing up in a dance studio setting explains why she counts in 8s and moves through life with a rhythm of her own, but beyond performing, Maggie has a deep love for teaching, choreography, and coffee runs with her girls.
These past four years have pushed her to grow not only as an artist, but as a leader, collaborator, and person. She is endlessly grateful for the faculty, mentors, and peers who have challenged her, believed in her, and helped her find both her voice and her confidence. #senior #seniorshowcase #collegeshowcase #performingarts #seniorsunday
Meet Harper!
Harper Saxon is an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, active listener, Lana Del Rey enthusiast, and sagittarius (scorpio moon) from Denver, Colorado!
Harper is grateful to have been a part of several WCT productions throughout her four years. Some of her favorite roles are Jackie Kennedy (First Lady Suite), Joanne (Company), and Teresa (Heroes of the Fourth Turning). She has also performed in the ensemble of Wagner’s main stage productions of City of Angels, Me & My Girl, WCT Dance, Pippin, and was the Female Ensemble Swing for The Prom!
Harper has also had the opportunity to choreograph student- run productions of The Addams Family, and Ride the Cyclone.
A woman of many ambitions, Harper couldn’t be more thankful for all of the opportunities Wagner College has allowed her to explore. On top of theater, Harper was able to earn a minor in Spanish and enjoyed her job as a Writing Intensive Tutor at Wagner’s Writing Center. Harper is also the President of Wagner College Dance Club and spent all four years on the executive board!
She would like to thank her family, friends, and the brilliant faculty who have believed in her and pushed her to grow into the performer, person, student, leader, and artist she is today. She could not have asked for a more beautiful and fulfilling four years to follow her dreams.

Meet Daniel Manuel Torres.
Daniel Manuel Torres (He/Him) is an Actor, Singer, and proud Boricua from New York City! Daniel was obsessed with the idea of live performance ever since he first watched WWE in the living room with his 4 brothers (His mother had her work cut out for her). While theatre may be a far cry from being thrown around a ring, he credits his charisma and love of improv to the years he spent observing the connection between the wrestlers and the audience.
At Wagner, Daniel has played a diverse variety of roles between Main Stage productions, Stage One, and Student-Runs. Some of his favorites include: Roger Davis (RENT!), Creon (Antigone), Will Bloom (Big Fish), and Scarecrow (The Wizard of Oz). He’s also a member of the Spin Cycle Improv Troupe and serves as the Graphic Designer for Completely Student Productions. In addition, you can see him as Daddy Cane in Wagner College’s production of Bright Star at the end of April.
Beyond theatre, Daniel has an intense love for video games, DND, and anime. So much so, that since eighth grade he’s forced his best friends to dub over scenes from some of their favorite shows so that he can practice directing and editing. And yes, his favorite is Attack on Titan.
He wouldn’t have been able to make it this far without the love and support from his Mother, Brothers, and his Girlfriend. He strongly encourages you to tell someone you love them, in case you haven’t today.
📍Most importantly, if you want to see Daniel and the WCT class of 2026 mark your calendar for April 27th, 2026 at 7:00PM at the Theatre at St. Jean’s! Contact Diane Catalano at [email protected] for more info and to RSVP!

Say hello to Jenna!
Jenna Freisem is a New York-based actor, singer, and dancer from Long Island. Her love of theatre began at a young age when she first heard Christine Daaé singing on her mom’s car radio.
She has been involved in music her whole life, being a member of various choirs over the years and playing a few different instruments as well. She’s played in many bands as well as lead vocalist, bassist, and pianist. Her favorite type of music to perform in this setting is typically 80s rock and grunge.
Outside of performing she has also found a great love for directing and was even personally asked to be the assistant director for the Main Stages “Company” this past fall. She has also directed and costume designed a production of “Alice in Wonderland”, directed an original piece in Wagner College’s “Originals” last Spring titled “Two Fish”, and is even directing a production of “Urinetown” this Summer. She could not be more excited to see where this takes her.

Meet senior Rareș.
Rareș Damșa is a noble hoodrat from Bucharest, Romania. He left in pursuit of immortality and is driven by his ideal of inspiring other generations and, at the same time, by his soulful duty to make his country a better place. His personality and artistry were born from mud and stars, as his life was always a mix of opposites: being the product of a literature teacher and a soccer coach, acting recklessly in his neighborhood while playing in international theatre festivals, being an athlete and an actor at the same time, to juggling the globe now.
He made his debut freshman year in Used Records (Frank Mohler), where he met his friend and mentor Jack Cummings III, with whom he later worked on the 1939 workshop for Transport Group. He was later directed by the great Michele Pawk in Plano (Faceless Ghost), worked with Theresa McCarthy again in And Away We Go (Actor 2) & First Lady Suite (Ike Eisenhower/Bess Truman/Presidential Aide), and played Kevin in Heroes of the Fourth Turning directed by Joey Donnely.
He believes that artists should keep believing in Santa Claus, as that’s the only way to survive. He wants to create art that will live forever but also realizes (selfishly) that while on stage, he kissed eternity for a few seconds in the past.
He can’t wait to live forever again.
📍Most importantly, if you want to see Rareș and the WCT class of 2026 mark your calendar for April 27th, 2026 at 7:00PM at the Theatre at St. Jean’s! Contact Diane Catalano at [email protected] for more info and to RSVP!

Say hello to Emma!
Emma is a critically acclaimed performer (if her parents are the critics) born and raised in Albany, New York.
A double major in Theater Performance and Arts Administration, she spends her days running around like a chicken with its head cut off… but she wouldn’t have it any other way! Emma has had a deep passion for performing since her unforgettable debut role as Girl Number 2 in High School Musical at the age of 5. Known by friends and family for the vibrant energy she brings into a room, she will always do her best to put a smile on your face. Outside of theater, she is a lover of sharks, Saturday Night Live, and bedazzling random objects.
During her time at Wagner, Emma has put her fingers in many different pies. She has performed in shows such as Ride the Cyclone (Constance), Men on Boats (Bradley), Antigone (Ismene), and more. Behind the scenes, she has stage managed 5 student run shows. Emma also proudly serves as the Vice President of Student Run Musical Theater and the Vice President of the Wagner College Class of 2026. She recently completed an administrative internship at Carpe Diem Theater, LLC, where her love for theater on and off stage only grew. When not at Wagner, you can probably find her doing a princess party or substitute teaching at her local high school!
In the final few months of her college career, she is so excited to play Margo in Wagner College Theater’s upcoming production of Bright Star, spend cherished time with her friends, and perform with her favorite people one last time for Showcase! Here’s Mikaila!
Mikaila Miller (she/her) is an actor, singer, and bold mover from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She fell in love with theatre when her Mom Mom took her to see The Wizard of Oz-she couldn’t stop crying. Some things never change…
At Wagner College, Mikaila has been proud to take on a wide range of roles, including Mrs. Mayor (Seussical), Hawkins (Men on Boats), Williamina Fleming (Silent Sky), and Lion/Zeke (The Wizard of Oz), as well as appearing in the ensemble of Rent. Offstage, Mikaila is just as dynamic. You can find her petting cats, co-leading Shakespeare on the Oval, practicing yoga, thrifting, or painting late into the night in the art studio. A storyteller at heart, she leads with warmth and intention, and is endlessly grateful to her family, friends and boyfriend for supporting her along the way.
