Apply once, stay eligible all academic year!
Students who submit their application by Aug. 31, 2026, will automatically be considered for both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 scholarships.

This Nurses Week, weโre celebrating students like Yajaira Burgos ๐ฉบ๐
Before graduating high school, Yajaira had already earned her CNA credential and completed WCTCโs Pre-Nursing program through the Dual Enrollment Academy โ gaining 31 college credits along the way.
Now, sheโs continuing her journey toward becoming a nurse at Alverno College after earning a prestigious full-ride scholarship.
From dedication and discipline to compassion and care, Yajaira represents the future of healthcare.

Congratulations to Daniel Hogan on being named the 2026 Outstanding Student Grit Award winner for the School of Business in the Web & Software Development program at WCTC!
Daniel has been actively involved in the campus community as an officer in both the IT Club and Web Club.
He contributed to fundraising efforts, attended industry experiences including visits to Epic and conferences like Prodcon and played a key role in bringing back the IoT Club. He also competed in the National Cyber League as part of the cyber defense team.
Daniel has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development by participating in workshops focused on communication and leadership, and by representing his program at events such as the WCTC Foundation Holiday Mixer and IT advisory board meetings.
His leadership is also evident in the classroom by stepping up to troubleshoot technical challenges and facilitate communication between classmates and instructors, ensuring a productive learning environment.
After overcoming earlier challenges in higher education, Daniel found a supportive environment at WCTC that helped him rediscover his path. His experience highlights the value of persistence, community and stepping outside of your comfort zone.
