My senior recital is approaching and I couldn’t be more excited, happy, and grateful for this moment!
Music and cello have been my companions, love, and life for many years and I’d like to share some of that history with you:
My first recital in college was 9 years ago. And before that, many more other recitals and concerts went by. Different repertoire, different instruments, and different hairstyles…
I was about to have my senior recital in 2019 when I had a serious car accident that put me away from the cello for 2 months. Once recovered, I was planning to play the recital a semester later, but then the pandemic came.
Two years later, I’m boarding the greatest journey of my life and living my dream of studying with Eugene Friesen at Berklee College of Music!
As I learned and got accustomed to do in my first college, I aimed to play a recital every year, when not every semester. And so it was…
Now, 6 years later from my former graduation, here’s a senior recital that represents the culmination of all my journey through both degrees and everything that music has brought into my life!
My deepest gratitude to every and each one that has been part of my path.

It was my third year attending the festival and, once again, I had a blast! There’s nothing like being surrounded by wonderful and inspiring cellists in such a beautiful place! Thank you very much @chrisjazzcello@cellohang and @phaemaid for having me and making this possible!
This year I also had the honor to perform a few of my original compositions for cello solo and debut the cello orchestra version of Dança da Chuva, my very first composition.
