It’s Thursday, and we’ve got Burgers! These are special burgers though…made with @solinskys_meats and @twostonesfarm cheese. Tastebuds through the roof. There’s a finite amount, so come early, or call to secure if you can only come later. Turns out we also have a killer Cheesecake special, too. Kitchen Open 5-8, Taproom Open till 9! HALF/WILD - This cider gets its name from the special mix of wild apples from the Catskills and dessert apples from the Hudson Valley. It’s our least dry cider — doesn’t mean it’s sweet — there is a beautiful balance of sharp acidity that complements the natural sweetness of the HV apples. You’ll notice an aromatic, slightly spicy quality, leading to a refreshing, clean finish. Each sip is a delightful exploration of flavors from the valley to the hills.

A RARE FIELD REPORT FROM IRENE:
“Well… Things are looking a little rough over here. It got down to just about 20* on Tuesday morning, which, as you might imagine, is potentially pretty disastrous for the apple crop this year.
We will know more in the coming days/weeks, but a lot of the trees here on the farm were much farther along in their bud development than we usually see this time of year, to the point where even a forecast in the high 20s would have made us nervous.
It’s pretty humbling to know that, despite the fact that we saw this coming for miles, there wasn’t really much we could do about it. Lighting fires in the orchards, which some folks do, isn’t practical for us (and also not sure it would have been enough in this case).
I tried pacing around, cursing, and repeatedly checking all the weather apps, but I think that only bought us a degree or two. I guess we’ll see.”
