Hey 👋🏼 I’ve seen many new faces here, so here’s a quick re-intro — and btw, thanks for being here 🤍 I’m Johny Vieira (yes, real name). Portuguese. My life is a mix of surfing, painting, and simple living. I’ve been living in a caravan for a few years, mostly around Portugal. I love mornings, minimalism, coffee, quiet places, time alone, that’s basically it. What I do: 🎨 Painting I paint surf scenes and feelings, mostly in watercolor — from imagination, references, or pure improvisation. Simple, minimal, sometimes one tone, sometimes a few colors. • Originals on my website • Prints - Saatchi platform 🖼️ Lessons & Workshops Teaching beginners and intermediate levels for ~5 years. I genuinely love sharing and guiding others. • Private lessons (in person) • Group workshops with studios / shops / surf houses 🎨🌊 Surf Art Retreats Full weeks of surfing + painting in Santa Cruz, Portugal, organized with @cliff_surfhouse . It has been so nice to experiment with digital (besides the part of looking at a screen and to don’t have a physical creation) The amount of possibilities, tools, colors, layers, make it the perfect tool to sketch out ideas, and to exercise drawing and compositions for real paintings. So much happened these last days.. Did probably the smallest trekking possible in Switzerland, slide down the mountain, visited a chocolate factory, met an old friend from school with private concert at google, cleaned horse shit, met other friends, and good time with my special human being. Thanks beautiful Switzerland 🇨🇭

Last week we had the beginner Surf&Art retreat going on at @cliff_surfhouse . We were blessed with offshores, sunny days and amazing people from all over the globe who share the same weird passion of surfing and painting. Our days were filled up with painting lessons, surfing, surfskate, painting outside, swimming pool, laughs and the delicious non stop food from @cliff_surfhouse . Couldn’t have wish better week, thank you all for being here, and all the staff from Cliff that makes always the best for our guests and me, to feel at home. Next retreat - 1st -8th November 2026 For intermediate painters, surf for all levels.
