Most people only see the final workshop.
The dancer. The energy. The experience.
But there’s so much happening behind the scenes that no one really talks about.
Flights, artist fees, hotels, food, transport, studio rentals…
and on top of that, hours and hours of unpaid work — planning, organizing, communicating, fixing problems.
We don’t have investors.
No big sponsors.
Everything is built from the ground up.
And before anyone complains about ticket prices —
just know they’re already far below what they would actually need to be to fully cover everything.
This is episode 1 of my behind the scenes series —

I want to clear out a misunderstanding. This is what some of yall call a „kpop“ class or „kdance“, just because the choreographers are korean. Stop labeling it like that. Yes the choreographers work in the kpop industry, but it’s part of their work, not their art. There are so many American choreographers who worked through multiple kpop groups, why don’t you call their classes „kpop“?
Dance is NOT defined by nationality. Keep that in mind 🤍
