A recent campaign I enjoyed being part of for Cadbury 5 Star’s “Nothing University”.
Always exciting working on storytelling driven by humor, satire, and contemporary culture. ✨
15 years. Still going strong 👀🥤
@redbullindia continues its partnership with @wavemakerind proving that consistency and trust power long-term success.
In a fast-moving media world, some partnerships don’t just last…
they lead.
Not just energy.
Enduring impact.

Cadbury 5 Star didn’t fight Valentine’s Day this year. They negotiated with it. First came the announcement a “peace treaty” with Valentine’s Day. A claim that they’d spend their budget sponsoring a million dates to restore the day’s original meaning. That tension was intentional.
Because the real reveal wasn’t about doing more.
It was about stepping away. After all their “research,” 5 Star landed on a familiar conclusion the most authentic way people once marked the day wasn’t with pressure or performance. It was with distance from the noise. So instead of selling romance, the brand sold an exit. Sit back. Relax. Have a 5 Star.
This works because it isn’t a one-off joke. It’s the next chapter in a long-running position fake weddings, skipping dates, dodging expectations all leading here.
While most Valentine’s campaigns sell effort, 5 Star sells permission. And in a culture that keeps adding pressure to one date, that kind of relief feels disruptive.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk opens its Valentine’s Day 2025 campaign by following a well-meaning penguin whose grand romantic plans keep going slightly off script. Each attempt to express affection feels sincere but mistimed, building a soft, relatable tension as he searches for the right way to be understood. The animation plays out like a quiet rom-com, where effort alone isn’t enough until Silk enters the picture as the simplest, most effective gesture. The brand positions the chocolate as a shortcut to emotional clarity, especially for those who find expressing love awkward or intimidating. Beyond the film, Say It With Silk extends into limited-edition packaging and retail moments that encourage consumers to let the product do the talking when emotions feel hard to put into words.

We recently had an insightful discussion at the @wavemakerind office in Mumbai with Radhikarani Sengupta and Vishal Korutla from Wavemaker regarding the transformative role of Data Tech and digital strategy in the Indian media landscape.
Multiple data-driven solutions were explored, discussing several use cases across their diverse brand portfolio. Radhika’s years of experience in media strategy offered invaluable perspective and helped exchange strong synergies between Segumento and Wavemaker India.
Driving impactful results today requires leveraging AI-driven intelligence as data ecosystems rapidly evolve. That’s exactly where Segumento excels: enabling the data-powered insights that create real impact.
Special thanks to Anupama Mishra for leading the discussion alongside Dharmit Shah.
The future of media is intelligent, adaptive, and powered by data, and we’re ready to drive the change! 🚀

From tricolor-themed treats to my “patriotically awkward” ending, this Independence Day at the office was all about food, fun, and a pinch of self-roast.
Because freedom also means the right to eat… and the right to embarrass yourself in public. 💚🤍🧡
