In a couple weeks we’re running the first in a series of skateboarding courses with the awesome @skatecoachscott at Hamilton park. Focusing heavily on those taking their first steps in skateboarding who need a bit of help to get the basics dialled and get more confident heading to the skatepark. Next Saturday (16th) there’s a surfers against sewage paddle out on the river tone at French weir. It may seem a bit strange jumping on a board in the middle of Taunton but what we’re really doing is adding our voice to the movement. Showing local government and local media that we will no longer stand for the horrendously poor water qualities that all us water users are subjected to. It doesn’t matter if you’re a paddle boarder, family beach goer, Wild swimmer or anyone in-between. While water companies make ever increasing profits they churn out ever increasing amounts of raw sewage into our water system and only by making a stand can we hope to affect real policy change. Details in the poster, we hope to see as many as possible showing up!
Wave Games Workshops! We’re trying some cool stuff this summer, the first of which is our ‘design a deck’ workshop on Friday 5th June. We’ve got decks, paint, pens, stencil making supplies and we’re blessed to have @___diz__ on hand who has designed and painted more than his fair share of decks! We’ll supply drinks and snacks, slam on some good tunes and get arty to create your very own custom skateboard. For more details or booking on hit us up here or in store. All folks welcome.
