I created this song as an affirmation for my sister. just real shit words from the heart knowing her and knowing how we grew up. Getting older, to me is one of the greatest gifts in the world. For all experience gained, however, we also lose things along the way. We also lose people. We lose connecting threads as life’s yarn thins. So, as I turn another age, I desire to hold onto people who want to maintain mutual connection. If I had a Love Language to tout, mine would be Quality Time, and my nearest and dearest know this about me. I’m always super grateful to anyone who willingly decides to share time and space with me. You don’t have to choose me, but you do, and I don’t take that for granted.
This year, I want to continue to gain experiences that fulfill me. I want to stay focused enough to return to theater/ Tv. I want to make sure my finances remain stable. And I want Love to keep coursing thru me in ways that can’t help but burst to overflowing. My shine should rub off on others, becuse I am astonishing. Not without faults/flaws because I’m human…but I’m willing to work on being as much of a positive influence on others as I can possibly be.
May my personal life adventure continue! And May I always lead with Love! Happy Personal New Year to Me!
