This summer I completed my first ever artist residency! I want to thank all the amazing people involved for making this possible. I’m very blessed to have such patient talented and thoughtful individuals as friends. We really came together and made this dream a reality, thank you for having my back. Very grateful to have such a beautiful blank canvas to work with, to be able to learn on the fly make mistakes and bring the world in my head to life. Safe to say I found a new calling. Big shout out to @maak.impact for dealing with my crazy ass and helping shape the vision. Took a moment to let things settle but it’s time for the next step: finding funding and a new residency to put on a scaled down version if the vision, a beta test. Looking forward to taking you all with me on this journey!
Put me in the game coach! Greatfull for the guidance and insight I received from this wonderful soul while navigating the complex craft of script writing. This one took me 3 years to finish. Started as an analogue video game and then Jesus just kind of appeared out of nowhere. I no joke tried to paint him away 3 times cause huh? but he just kept coming back at which point I just went with it and decided to give it to my super catholic grandmother. Cried when I finished it cause she’s the closest thing to an angel on this earth. When I was a kid she took me to church at the end she laughed and said people like you don’t belong in church. Thanks for your unconditional love and not forcing anything on me. ps she saw it was Jesus right away 🥰 Happy birthday
This is weird, I’m officially a writer now. Or maybe I have been since that short story I wrote in 4th grade. Small milestone, on to book 2. They cost 80 a pop to make so I’m gonna have to find a publisher but I’m working on it. Some minor details I also need to fix but we’re in the right path 🥳 Thanks everybody who helped, both with the book and my life, it was much needed 🙏
