After seeing the water crisis firsthand, Brent and Kristyn sponsored a water project as a Christmas gift to their children. In December, they surprised their family with videos and pictures from the opening ceremony. Their kids said it was the most meaningful gift they could have received. The next day, their son and daughter-in-law decided to fund two more villages! Here is one of those projects. This is what a chain reaction looks like. And this is the joy it creates when a child drinks clean water for the first time. 🩵 Local partner on this project: @familyhumanitarian

Our Polar Plunge went from chilly to chili real fast. ❄️🌶️ Huge thank you to the Cache Valley community for showing up and jumping in at the 2nd Annual Polar Dumpster Plunge. Because of you, we raised critical funds to get projects in Ghana underway. And a huge shoutout to the local businesses who made it all possible with the dumpster, sauna, donuts and hot cocoa, audio, heaters, and more. We are so grateful for our friends and community. A few highlights: • Kevin spilling his chili (rubber ducks included 🦆) • The mobile sauna built by The Local Stoke and Total Tree Care • Noah, age 10, jumping in 50 TIMES • Pool party music. A must in early February. We can’t wait for next year. 🤗

These photos show the reality for two villages we’re raising funds for through the Polar Dumpster Plunge. Every day, families in Dugu and Sakpaligu, Ghana walk long distances to collect water from these unsafe water sources. It’s time-consuming, exhausting, and it puts their health at risk. The hopeful part: these villages are vetted, approved, and ready. The only thing standing between them and clean, reliable water is funding. This Saturday, the 7th, your cold plunge here in Cache Valley will help end daily walks like this and bring clean water closer to home for these families. If you’ve been looking for a tangible way to make a real difference, this is it. Sign up to plunge or donate to be a part of their new beginning 👉🏼 (link in bio)

Many people bringing clean water to communities today once grew up without it. We invest in partnerships with NGOs on the ground who know the water crisis best, often people who have survived it. They run the projects. We provide funding and real-time data tools to help them scale their impact. It's a WIN-WIN. Today, these teams are change-makers driving progress across Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, and Uganda. Their work and examples go far beyond clean water!

The global water crisis is so vast that even a child can feel its weight… and help carry the change. At a local elementary school’s STEAM Night, students got to pump water and carry the same containers that girls their age haul every day instead of going to school. Connor and Sam shared their journey to raise $4,000 to bring clean water to a village. Many kids donated $2 to help one person and took home a bracelet from Kenya as a reminder of the life they’re helping change. The best part? Seeing students make their own “Kids Helping Kids” pledges (last slide). 💧✨

Pure joy! And it’s all thanks to MeterLogix. By sponsoring 4 wells in Uganda, they’ve given 4,425 people the gift of clean water. That big smile at the end says it all. 🩵

She must be over 80. When the clean water first poured out, she stood in silence while the village sang and danced. After a lifetime of waiting, her reverence was her celebration. Then each matriarch stepped forward and pumped the well herself, drawing clean water from the ground for the first time in her life. The young girls beside her will never have to carry 40 pounds of water for miles each day. They will grow up free to dream of futures their grandmothers only imagined. Their sacrifice has been worth it. This is the generational change clean water brings.

“You’ve done a very good job in supporting the mother,” shared the Osira community leader. In this short clip, hear his heartfelt words on how this new borehole will transform life for his village, spoken just moments before the well was opened. 💧

Dirty water becomes clean. Suffering becomes joy. Sickness becomes health. For $4,000, you can give an entire community clean water for life. 🩵💧
