My ratings are based on the categories you see above. No plot summaries here — you can look those up yourself or just check out the trailer. 🧐 I’m not a trained film critic, and I haven’t studied anything movie related. 🎬 Watching movies and shows is simply a passion of mine. #Movies #MovieReview #SeriesReview #FilmReview #TVSeries #BingeWatch #StreamingNow #FilmLover #MovieAddict #WhatToWatch #WatchWords #Cinematography #MovieBuff #FilmGeek #MovieNight #FilmAddict #PopcornTime #MovieRecommendation #MovieTalk

Over the past decades, I’ve watched a wide variety of films in all genres. 📽 Whether it’s documentaries, animated films, comedies, dramas… there will be a bit of everything.🎭 I live in Europe 📍🌍, which means that major blockbusters are released in cinemas/streaming services here later than in America — unfortunately. But personally, I don’t need to watch films during their first week of release. Going to the cinema is always a pleasure for me, and it’s often even better when there are fewer people in the room. Stay tuned to see which “reviews” I’ll share over time. Which films/series should I absolutely cover? Feel free to let me know in the comments!✏️ #Movies #MovieReview #SeriesReview #FilmReview #TVSeries #BingeWatch #StreamingNow #FilmLover #MovieAddict #WatchList #FilmGram #MovieTime #BingeWorthy #StreamingLife #FilmObsessed #CriticsCorner #WatchThis

⭐️ 3,8/5 ⭐️ A true story that deeply touches the heart. Not everyone has the courage and determination that Jay had, which is exactly why not everyone achieves their goals. It’s a unique surfing film that is about much more than just the sport. Many people can surf, but only a few truly understand the ocean. #moviereview #JonnyWeston #Mavericks #ElisabethShue

⭐️ 3,2/5 ⭐️ The big question: Is a friendship between a man and a woman possible if they have sex? Many would answer no, while others would strongly disagree. I don’t know. And in my opinion, this film doesn’t really provide an answer either. The fact is, however, that the movie not only deals with an interesting topic, but is also very well made. I’m a big fan and can only recommend this romantic comedy with its witty charm. #moviereview #MilaKunis #EmmaStone #FriendswithBenefits

⭐️ 3,8/5 ⭐️ It makes me very sad to know that so many people die from cancer. Creating a personal list of things you still want to do before you die is a beautiful idea. Still, at some point, life ends — and in most cases, far too early. There will always be something you wish you had experienced or done. There are far too many people who would have wanted more time with someone they love, and yet nothing can change how short that time is. I find it impressive how this topic is handled in the film. It is creative, sad, touching, and sometimes even funny. With this movie, tears are almost guaranteed. #moviereview #NowisGood #WatchWords #cancer #dramamovie

⭐️ 3/5 ⭐️ I think everyone who is already an adult knows the feeling of wanting to be young again. The only question is: when do you actually become an adult? Doesn’t everyone stay a little bit of a child inside? And if not, wouldn’t something be missing in life? This film doesn’t directly focus on these questions, but rather on the idea of stepping out of your comfort zone and turning your whole life around. You just need the courage to choose happiness, even if not everyone understands that. #moviereview #Laggies #KeiraKnightley #SamRockwell

⭐️ 4,6/5 ⭐️ Based on a true story about a tsunami and a family torn apart by the disaster. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much during a movie. The mother and the oldest son quickly find each other again after being swept away by the waves. But before they can finally rest, they face several more obstacles and even help a young boy along the way. They are rescued by locals and brought to a hospital, where Maria, the mother, has to undergo surgery. Before the two can reunite with the father and the other sons, they encounter many moments of courage, kindness, and despair. The movie portrays incredibly well how chaotic hospitals become after such an environmental catastrophe and how many people are desperately searching for help or for missing loved ones. It takes enormous strength and endurance to survive something like this. I am deeply shaken by disasters like these and my thoughts are with all the victims, their families, and friends. #moviereview #TheImpossible #EwanMcGregor #SamuelJoslin #OakleePendergast

⭐️ 3,8/5 ⭐️ A charming romance that really feels like it could happen in real life. The only thing almost too good to be true are the hilarious gay best friends — I would honestly love to have people like that in my life. The film follows the adventures of one unforgettable night that couldn’t possibly get any more interesting. #nickandnorahsinfiniteplaylist #moviereview #MichaelCera #AlexisDziena

⭐️ 4,8/5 ⭐️ I truly loved this series. It is exciting, intelligent, emotional, and visually beautiful at the same time. What makes it especially powerful is that it is based on the story of a woman who fought against a society that constantly tried to limit her just because she was female. Watching Lidia continue to stand up for herself, even when nobody wanted to take her seriously, is both inspiring and frustrating in the best possible way. Women today benefit greatly from brave women like her who fought for their rights long before it was accepted or safe to do so. The series reminds you how difficult it was for women to be heard and respected, especially in professions dominated by men. Besides the strong message, the acting, the chemistry between the characters, and the mix of crime, drama, and romance make the show incredibly entertaining. I really hope there will be more seasons. #LidiaPoët #seriesreview #WatchWords #PierLuigiPasino

⭐️ 3/5 ⭐️ Many people told me how great and funny this film was. But when I finally watched it myself, I was disappointed. Once again, the movie is mostly about relationships. Sure, it also touches on the time in between, but not nearly as much as I had hoped. I simply expected too much from it. I thought it would finally be a film that truly encourages singles and shows how great it can be to be on your own. Well, I was wrong. A few truths and lessons are shared, but probably just to fit the title of the movie. #HowtobeSingle #moviereview #WatchWords #romcommovie

⭐️ 3,6/5 ⭐️ Music plays an important role in all of our lives. This film has a soundtrack that I especially associate with love. Even though the story is based on something rather unrealistic, it is very sensitive and also funny. Everyone has to decide for themselves what truly matters — especially when it comes to love or career. The only thing that matters is that you are happy in the end. #WhatWomenwant #moviereview #MelGibson #AlanAlda #LaurenHolly

⭐️ 3,4/5 ⭐️ I love watching people who are skilled in parkour. It looks like they’re flying, moving from building to building or to the next staircase like monkeys. And they actually can — but it takes a lot of practice and pain to get there. The film has everything you could want: action, romance, and some deception. Even though I really like it, it still bothers me a bit that Taylor Lautner finally looks like an attractive, grown man, but his mannerisms still feel a bit too boyish. #Tracers #moviereview #AdamRayner #SamMedina
