*Sold* British Petroleum TAG Heuer Formula 1 - these are so unique to me. They retain the 383.513/1 reference number (typically black and red dial), but have a very unique white/green dial to match the BP Oil logo. Very cool and incredibly tough to find!

How this watch is still for sale, I have no idea. One of the best original Formula 1 commissions, and it’s available for less than I purchased it for! The strap is aftermarket, but the original TOM’S Racing dial is really what makes this one shine.

*Not for sale* Dragon Ball Z X McLaren Formula 1 Promotional Flag - one of the best and most elusive collaborations in history. Akira Toriyama, the founder of Dragon Ball Z (Shonen Jump), was a HUGE Formula 1 and Ayrton Senna fan. The red text on this flag even translates to “Go for it! McLaren”
And yes, I threw my personal TAG Heuer Formula 1 Marlboro McLaren team watch from the late 80’s on there for posterity.
This flag was a promotional product given to Japanese bookstores to promote the new manga at the time. Later on, it became one of the most famous series of all time. Maybe only a handful of these flags in existence.

*Sold* vintage Ferrari Cartier Tank watch in a classic Must de Cartier Tank gold-plated case. So little information is out there about these watches. Supposedly Cartier wasn’t allowed to put their name anywhere on any products produced for Ferrari, so there’s no reference to Cartier on this watch.

As you know, one of my absolute favorite watches. The LEGO watch, the Happy Meal watch, whatever you may call it, it’s one of the coolest, most playful parts of horological history. Beyond the playfulness, the colors actually represent the livery Ukyo Katayama’s 1992 Larrousse Lamborghini Formula 1 car. Legendary!
A friend of mine wears a Patek on one wrist and an Ukyo Katayama Formula 1 on the other - the grand juxtaposition!
