Cider & Soy Sauce Glazed Tofu ✨
Golden crispy tofu in a silky soy sauce and cider glaze, balanced with garlic, ginger and toasted sesame. Made even better with a Lebanese cider from @watacider , adding a subtle fruity depth that elevates this simple dish to restaurant level.

Ingredients:
• 400 g firm tofu
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 100 ml Lebanese cider (Water Cider)
• 1 tsp honey
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 small piece of grated ginger (optional)
• 2 green onions, sliced
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• Sesame seeds (for topping)

Preparation:
• Cut the tofu into cubes and lightly coat it with the cornstarch
• Pan-fry the tofu in sesame oil until golden and crispy, then set aside
• In the same pan, stir-fry the garlic, ginger and the white part of the green onions for 1–2 minutes until fragrant
• Deglaze with the Lebanese cider and let it reduce slightly
• Add the soy sauce, honey and a drizzle of sesame oil, then stir well
• Return the tofu to the pan and let the sauce simmer for 3–5 minutes until glossy and slightly syrupy
• Serve with rice, noodles or stir-fried vegetables
• Finish with the remaining green onions and sesame seeds on top for freshness and crunch ✨
