This has been a long time coming. Ever since we started making music, our dream has been to one day make an album of work. And this day has finally come…
This was a challenging process to undergo and it took us most of last year. We had never found ourselves with a stretch of time to focus fully on making music, as usually we worked in and around touring, other creative projects and school.
But we have come through with a piece of work we are both super proud with. And we feel this new work is a representation of who we are now.
We want to thank you for your patience, love and support. We genuinely couldn’t be more fortunate to have you on this journey with us, and we can’t wait for you to hear and become part of the world of ‘Nocturne!’

2515 👩🍳👨🍳the making of…
Last spring we embarked on the journey that was 2515. Taken from a few different ideas, with the verses initially stemming from a grand orchestral idea and the outro coming from a different song entirely, it feels weird to reflect on how the collage came together. But after a long process of editing and reshaping the song, writing lyrics over different shapes, the structure felt more and more coherent, and true to what we wanted to express.
The iciness and darkness of the song is something we instinctually wanted to explore after touring Isotope, with gritter tones and distortion. It felt like a closer representation of how our tastes had developed as people, and we wanted to catch you up. The subject matter also feels more grown up, it’s confrontational and cold, and something about it feels more self assured.
The main thing we wanted to channel was the cinema and grandeur of what sonically brings people together, despite its isolating lyrics. And most importantly, to connect over that euphoria LIVE with YOU.
