The problem with ambition is that it moves the finish line every time you get close. Today I took a second to stop running and realized I’ve already crossed three finish lines I once thought were impossible. I’ve been too busy focused on the next goal to celebrate.
Nights like these remind me that ‘making it’ isn’t a destination you reach and stay at, it’s the quiet moment of realizing your current ‘normal’ used to be your wildest dreams.
