I’ve covered Curry Camp for years, but this one hit different. Spent a day on site and had a chance to sit down with @stephencurry30 1-on-1. We talked mentorship, Kobe’s impact, and more.

There is no player in NBA history who has changed the way basketball is played the way Stephen Curry has. Every team in the league has spent the last decade trying to build a defense that can stop him. None of them have figured it out.
The space he creates before he even touches the ball is something coaches still cannot gameplan for. Defenders have to guard him at half court. Screens that would free up any other player by two feet need to give Curry six inches. One hesitation, one step back, and the entire building knows what is coming next. They still cannot stop it.
What separates Curry from every other shooter the game has ever seen is not just the range. It is the consistency under pressure. The bigger the moment, the more locked in he gets. Playoff runs. Game 7s. Must-win games. Curry has answered every single time. The numbers back it up and so does every highlight reel from the last decade.
17 seasons of watching this guy and it still does not get old. Every time he touches the ball late in a game, something special feels like it is about to happen. That feeling never goes away.

It’s gotta be either now or never. The Warriors NEED to bring in a star level talent to remain competitive in the increasingly difficult western conference.
Multiple reports have recently stated that Golden State plans to be aggressive during the offseason, attempting to add another major difference maker to the roster. Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo have been names tied to the Dubs. Additionally, Kevin Durant is player that I think should also be in the mix if the Rockets are looking to move off of him. Which of these superstars would pair best with Stephen Curry? 🤔
Behind the scenes inside Chase Center covering the Steve Kerr press conference 🔥 Grateful for our WT Fam that’s been here for the journey. 13 years and counting. S/o to the Warriors for the access. We’re making some strides. More fun things on the horizon 👀
Steve Kerr was randomly dropping Taylor Swift lyrics into postgame interviews during the 2022-2023 season and nobody caught it 🤣

Senior ESPN journalist Wright Thompson just released one of the best long-form profiles on Steve Kerr you’ll ever read. Here are three moments that stood out. There were plenty more as well.
Slide 1: Michael Jordan told Steve Kerr “You’ve earned it… you’ve earned all of it.” Their encounter came as Kerr randomly ran into MJ in a hotel hallway and thanked him for helping him by setting his career on a great trajectory. “Everything that has happened in my career is because of playing with you.”, Kerr told Jordan. This came from a piece where Kerr reflects on his relationship with MJ during their time together in Chicago. Jordan recognized something in Kerr that Kerr himself was still figuring out, and that vote of confidence during their chance encounter really stuck with Kerr.
Slide 2: Barack Obama ran into Steve Kerr and the first thing he asked was what was going to happen with Kuminga. Even outside of basketball circles, the curiosity around Jonathan Kuminga and his future in Golden State was everywhere. Even a former president wants answers 🤣
Slide 3: Kerr’s core belief has never wavered: you compete until the last breath no matter the circumstances. For a man who has battled through championship runs, a health scare, and the pressure of rebuilding a dynasty, those words are not just a coaching philosophy. They’re how he’s lived his life.
