Join us on Saturday, May 16th at 2:30 PM for a special local history presentation. Historian Alex Prizgintas @alexprizgintas will discuss the history of the region known as the "Borscht Belt". This cultural region in the Catskill Mountains was once a summer destination and vacation spot primarily for Jewish Americans living in New York City. Alex will discuss the region's history and the many summer resorts that once existed. Historical artifacts will also be displayed.
