🔧 First outing with the freshly built Road King was a win. It’s powered by our 143 street kit we showcased last fall—200 hp on 93 pump gas with a conservative 12:1 compression ratio. Target was a 9-second pass, and it delivered: 9.93 @ 136 mph. With more seat time and better track conditions, we’re confident there’s a 9.70 in it.
With only a couple race weekends left, we’re tearing it down for the next evolution: installing our new CP custom pistons with increased compression and +4 valve pockets, matched to our latest +4 Center Cooled Gen 2 heads. Expecting a 20–30 hp gain, which should push it solidly into the mid-nines and well past 140 mph.
