At the end of 2025, I welcomed my baby girl. Having a child in midlife has been tough, but also incredibly magical. She’s now a sweet, chubby two-month-old šŸ¤ 🫶Thank you to all the clients and art directors who’ve reached out — and I’m sorry if I’ve been slow to reply lately.

In 2023, I created the key visual for HermĆØs China’s Mid-Autumn Festival campaign. I had so much fun drawing all these horse characters šŸŽ These were some sketches that didn’t make the final cut. With the Year of the Horse coming up, it finally feels right to share them now. #yearofthehorse

One of my favorite illustrators, @wanginkee approached me and asked if I was interested in participating in the visual design for GAF. She would be the illustrator of the project and I would be the graphic designer. I immediately agreed! šŸŽØEvent and Design Concept: Guangzhou and Shenzhen are two of Chinaā€˜s busiest coastal cities. This GAF (Guangzhou Illustration Art Fair) was held in one of these two cities. So me and @wanginkee was come up to the idea that capturing the speed, bustle, and diversity of these cities. it’s all about speed, speed, speed!šŸ„ šŸ“Collaboration: Traditionally, Many illustration projects are completed by the illustrator first, then handed over to a graphic designers to do the layout. (Or turn it around) In this collaboration, we both wanted to break with this approach. We wanted to see what it would be like if the design team and the illustrations worked closely together from the very beginning. Type and typography would no longer be seen as a thing that just add information to the illustrations (Or turn it around). Instead, the type and typography would interact strongly with the illustrations within the image. That was the thing in our minds. So, my collaboration with inkee was like playing ping-pongšŸ“. For example, she drew some illustrations like a clock snailšŸŒā° and sent them to me. At the same time, I shared my initial phase of a speedy style type design and my layout ideas, such as the ā€œconcrete columnā€šŸŒƒšŸŖœ style lay out, which builds the visual elements like a building. She then went back and created more actual urban buildings illustraction to echo my ā€œconcrete columnā€ lay out ideas. This project completely broke with our usual creative approach. The event went smoothly, and the client team created a lots of interesting products based on the visuals! Thank you inkee for the invitation and the clientā€˜s trust in creating such a playground for us!

sharing more photos & posters with the artworks I drew for lululemon. This year, I had the pleasure of contributing to the main visual for Lululemon’s Align 10th Anniversary! I created 10 yoga girls and a series of small surrounding elements as part of the illustration work. The celebration was held on May 17th at Beijing Workers’ Stadium, which seats 80,000 people. My illustrations were displayed across the seats, and some of the small elements were turned into large-scale yoga installations. The official photos look incredible! It’s been a few months from sketches to final artwork, and I got to see how the Lululemon design team brought the full visual to life — such a dedicated and kind team. Really grateful to be part of this project! #lululemon #Align10 #illustrationdesign #visualart #yogagirls #artistcollaboration #stadiuminstallation #yogavisuals #celebrationart #creativeprocess #designcollab #artdirection #beijingart #commercialillustration

I’m so excited to share the cover I illustrated for the lululemon x Wallpaper special edition! The comic-style panels continue the everyday stories of the yoga girls I created for the Align 10th anniversary key visual šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Interestingly, my first connection with lululemon also came through Wallpaper — such a special full-circle moment 怰ļø Animation by the amazing 卷宗 team* #lululemonleggings #wallpapermagazine #alignpants #align10yranniversary #illustrator

Happy Christmas Eve! I created this small Christmas tree animation for Hangzhou jewelry brand WYZY无用之用, featuring their latest Christmas crystal apple series. 🌲🌲 šŸ˜… My Blender animation skills are still a bit stuck in the basics this year, but I’m hoping to deepen my learning and grow my 3D animation skills by 2025!

Just wrapped up a super fun project—creating a chocolate model as the recommended gift for the WallpaperSTORE卷宗商åŗ—. It was also the perfect excuse to dive back into digital clay modeling with Quest3 after months of letting it gather dust. The final result is delicious. Big thanks to AD: Yayi!

怊Wallpaper怋 was my go-to magazine back when I was a student, so it’s been a full-circle moment to paint the Giorgio Armani special edition cover for their August issue.(China Edition)The cover celebrates Mr. Armani’s 90th birthday and features Palazzo Orsini—the brand’s iconic headquarters in Milan. I included not only Armani’s classic frocks but also elements of the Armani/Casa furniture line, visible through the small windows. Big thanks to AD Roman for the opportunity!

In 2021, I designed the IP image for MAO GUAI: A Hairy Monster for Pomme de Terre @pommedeterre__ —a super cool youth clothing brand in China. Since then, the character has been a continuous part of their collections. This fall/winter, they released a Hairy Monster doll with a bold, abstract look that I absolutely love. Can’t wait to see more mao guai products in the future! #pommedeterre
