You can draw endless analogies from growing a garden. Many years ago I read this in The Hidden Life of Trees (10000% recommend it for anyone who wants some whimsy in life because the world of trees is so fucking fascinating) that scientists discovered slow growth when a tree is young is often what allows it to live a long, healthy life…and honestly it changed how I look at my life. 8 years ago at BHXproject in Leh, someone asked me what chapter of life I was in and I said “a seedling.” I felt quite lost, and exhausted from being directionless. It felt like I was stuck underground while everyone else had already bloomed. This analogy got me through that chapter ✨ I think the chapter now is “small sprout”🌱 Still figuring things out but at least I’ve broken through the soil and know which direction I’m growing in. Our lives in cities has made everything fast, convenient and frictionless and with AI it’s getting even more optimised. I am not saying it’s bad thing, but it’s definitely far from what our human experience should be. If you feel restless, lost and in need of a new perspective in life, get a pot, a seed, a corner with sunlight, and learn to watch something grow slowly alongside you. If you have a kid, help them grow and look after a plant (it’s what my mom’s being doing btw) LIFE F**KING CHANGING.

Before you write a book and search for a self publishing company, STOPPP and ask your self if that’s the right path!!! I have lost track of how many times I have stopped people from rushing into publishing because that’s the easiest part, the important parts come way before printing. This roadmap by Kevin Kelly is simple way to check if you’re ready and what path makes the best sense for you and your book! Happy writing 💛✍️📝✨

I don’t have all the answers. But I do know this: the future will belong to people who can still think deeply, focus quietly, and learn without constant stimulation. That’s partly why I’m still building books in the age of AI. Not because nothing is changing. But because everything is. I don’t know what the future looks like but I do you think that these 5 things will survives the next 20 years of education. What’s your thought? 💭 🫠📚

I’ve had a complicated relationship with educational publishing. So when I decided to take a month to research more on children books, there was a lot of guilt and a lot of worry that came with it. Not only was the timing bad, I was not sure if anything would come out of this wandering. I came back with breakthroughs and new hypothesis 🫠✨ So if you’ve ever felt like you can’t step away - this one’s for you.

PSA: Create proof that you can do hard things. I started @recklessscollective because I wanted more type 2 fun and people to do it with. It was never about performance or fitness goals...hell its wasn’t even about hard things. But the more I sat with it the clearer it got..every time I did something genuinely hard unthinkable that scared the shit out of me or mostly @neil.chatt Something shifted. And that’s it. It’s the reason I am trail running in Borneo this June. I hated running and have only recently gotten okay at it. But these retreats are my attempt to create more intervention to do hard things with people who get it! Your job is not your hard thing. Find the thing that humbles you, challenges you, changes you. That’s what I am building Reckless for....the ‘bloody’ good kind of suffering 😂. And on that note, we have 2 spots left and if you hate running come to Borneo, we’ll change that for you! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! Link in bio

Maybe the popularity of endurance sports, Hyrox, ultra trails, cold plunges and other physically difficult experiences isn’t really about fitness at all. Maybe we are just trying to feel c̶a̶p̶a̶b̶le̶ human again. And maybe Nietzsche was right, what doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger.

Forest Music Festival #latedump 🌿💛✨👩‍🎤 Convinced @7harneet to say yes to my impromptu reckless plan of going to the hills a few weeks after crazy landslides and she manifested a morning rainstorm the next day 🙈😅 It was such a beautiful cozy magical festival with insanly good music next to the river under the tress. I ran into old friends 👯‍♀️ hungout by the river bed with new ones, hitchhiked, saw spaceships at night 🛸 Scroll to the end to see the forest lit up at night 🪐 #gaia #musicfestival #forest #himachal #dreamy #reckless #experience #nature #magic

Droping some red hot recklessss energy ✨🏄🏻‍♀️🔥 Here’s a wrap up from our first reckless retreat in Srilanka! #kitesurfing So much that happened this is only the highlights of the highlights. We are just getting started!! In no order here are some of the most recklessss things that happened 🤙🏻😂 0. Losing 1 shoe in the car 1. Getting dragged by our kites like human kite-tails to be rescued by boats. 2. Swimming backwards endlessly to get the lift, wiping out hard 3. Riding into Mangroves, getting stuck and then falling down the beach, where we played “where is my chappal game” with the waves 4. Kayaking into glorious sunsets and passing bear 5. Getting roasted by the sun because what is sunscreen 6. OD-ing on 100 kinds of sambol 7. Playing Games….too many games 8. Having all sorts of conversations that make you go ooo, wow, ehh, hehe, nooo, hmmm 9. Waking up to the lagooooon 10. Capturing terrrrible footage because we were too busy havingggggg fun! This feels so weird hehehe 🫠🫣 I am not running ads @recklessscollective so I need ideas on finding more crazy folks willing to go kitesurfing with me this September.

Building a personal repository of reckless and ridiculous people who are curious as hell and love jumping out of cliffs, boats and plane. 👹🦄🐒🌿🤘🏻 I miss spaces that allow for deep conversations - NOT about work and growth (we have too much of that already) but about the world, our experience of life and everything about it. And because crazy adventure is my MO, I am building a space that mixes these two polarised elements. Retreats that are profound, holy-god-of-mother-adventurous, worldview expanding with no business growth or selfie points for more people like me. Since that’s a really long description and foolhardy idea - I am calling it the @recklessscollective #letsbereckless #recklesscollective #passionproject
