✨️ PRESTIGIOUS INHERITANCE ✨️ Thank God Alhamdulillah my Final Project has finished. This fashion collection is inspired by Gending Sriwijaya Traditional Dance from South Sumatera. This was a welcoming dance for guests of honor in Sriwijaya Kingdom. Currently the dance is still used for welcoming the honorable government guests in South Sumatera. The collection is using traditional Songket from South Sumatera and Wastra Nusantara. This dance reflects an aculturation of three different culture ; Melayu, Chinesse, and Javanesse in Palembang. The dance represent the wealth, majesty and glory of Sriwijaya at the time of the archipelago (Nusantara). I present a lot of elements and details from the concept which refers to the exotic dramatic style with an ethnic look. I thank to many people who supported me while working on these final projects.
