Walt Disney’s Carolwood barn is proud to celebrate Black History Month this February. Our organization is excited to feature some of the amazing individuals who help create the magic that inspires us all.
Floyd Norman is an animator, artist, writer, and cartoonist who has been bringing dreams to life since 1956.
Gunny’s monthly flag retreat ceremony is a quintessential part of the Carolwood Barn, allowing us to honor and recognize active service members, veterans and their families.
It is our turn to take this opportunity to honor and recognize their legacy and service.

Joining us will be authors Tori Atencio McCullough, Kelsey McCullough, and Bobbie Lucas signing copies of their book Xavier “X” Atencio: The Legacy of an Artist, Imagineer, and Disney Legend. On Sunday, January 18th from 11am-3pm, we will be welcoming Al Nassar, Disneyland cast member and the author of the book Keeping It Special. For over 30 years Al has been going out of his way to make every day at the Happiest Place on Earth special. And now he has written a book detailing how he has been doing just that, year after year. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing while supplies last.
