Foggie and I came together with an idea for a look that would test the boundaries of his bold approach to streetwear. These pieces really spoke to the eclectic nature of Foggie’s brand, style, and lyrical prowess.

Circa 2023, I struck a conversation with the owner of @schmidlibackdrops one of the chillest guys you could ever meet.
Our conversation was about perspective. We both wore glasses and I told him that the backdrop looks complete when you take your glasses off (or when your lens is out of focus)
He thought it was a cool idea and told me that they weren’t sure if it was finished and that they were considering leaving it as is, but after hearing my perspective he was going to leave it and this one would be special.
Do you think my perspective was valid?
We made something special.
Collaborating with the Howard University family on The Usual 🎬✨ during Black History Month was a full circle moment.
Grateful to contribute as Assistant Art Director and be part of bringing this vision to life alongside such a talented team.
