壁のパッチワークのような額縁を作りその中に埋め込まれた石盤をイメージして制作しました。
その石盤は旅から持ち帰ったバスチケット、旅で撮影したモスクのタイル柄の写真、外国のタバコのシール、旅で描いた絵などwall works の旅の思い出が刻まれています。それが時を経て掘り出された。
という設定です。
This piece was created with the image of a stone slab embedded within a frame designed like a patchwork of walls.
The slab contains memories from WALL WORKS’ travels—bus tickets brought back from trips, photos of mosque tile patterns taken during the journey, foreign cigarette labels, sketches drawn while traveling, and more.
The concept is that these travel memories were buried over time and have now been unearthed.

シンガポールの美術館に作品を飾る事ができました。
色々な国を旅してきたけど自分の作品に外国へ連れて行ってもらえるという幸せな経験ができました。

重量はありますが、迫力のある作品に仕上がりました。
This is one of the works I created for the current exhibition, Quality.
It’s a piece that focuses on texture, form, and surface depth.
Though it’s heavy, it turned out to be a powerful and impactful work.

その壁が劣化しモルタルで補修をしたが、
経年変化により剥がれ落ち再び顔を出した。
というストーリーの作品。

A piece that tells the story of a “STANG” throw-up painted on a tiled wall.
As the wall deteriorated over time, it was repaired with mortar, but with further aging, the repair peeled away, revealing the original wall once again.

昨年同様今期の @wakanacbt さんのスカーフの原画を
額装させて頂きました。
今回の作品も細かく手描きで構成されたデザインが
圧巻でした。
額は黒をメインとし、磨いてうっすらと艶を出し
光の加減で輝く金色のラインがポイントです。
As with last year, I had the pleasure of framing the original artwork for @wakanacbt ’s scarf this season.
The intricately hand-drawn design is truly stunning.
The frame is primarily black, carefully polished to achieve a subtle sheen, with a gold line that catches the light as a key accent.
