🎖️ For 15 years, Walking With The Wounded have been there – in the tough moments, the turning points and the triumphs – supporting veterans and their families with care that meets them where they are.
Mental health support. Employment support. Wraparound care coordination. Whatever the need, we tailor our support to each veteran we walk alongside.
We’re proud of the impact we’ve made together over the last 15 years. But we’re not finished.
We’ll keep showing up for veterans and their families for as long as they need us, ensuring they’re equipped for whatever challenges life after service brings.

As we mark 15 years of supporting veterans and their families, we’re delighted to introduce Levison Wood as the ambassador leading our anniversary campaign.
As a British Army veteran, explorer, and long-standing supporter of the charity, Levison joins us to shine a spotlight on the life-changing impact of our work.

Last CEO Sleepout of the season and what a season it has been.
From Aberdeen to Leicester, Kent to Middlesbrough and now here at the beautiful @the_alnwick_garden_trust , we have watched hundreds of brilliant people swap their warm beds for cold ground, raise their voices for those who go unheard and raise vital funds for the grassroots charities doing extraordinary work in their communities every single day.
To everyone sleeping out tonight at Alnwick, you are incredible. To every donor, every charity partner, every sponsor, every volunteer and every single person who shared a post, commented, encouraged or simply showed up, thank you. You are the reason this works.
We will be sharing updates on exactly where your donations go because transparency matters to us and you deserve to see the difference you are making.
The season may be over but the work never stops. Watch this space for news on how you can get involved, stay connected and keep helping us raise awareness of homelessness across the UK.
🌙💙

Yesterday we shared a thank you to all of our amazing speakers and charities from last Thursday at the Riverside.
That part of a CEO Sleepout is always very inspiring, a fabulous opportunity to network and an opportunity to learn first hand where the donations people work so hard in raising go and why.
But then came the night 🌙 Cold concrete. A sleeping bag between you and the ground.
Rachel Gray described it perfectly. The cold cuts deep, the ground is unforgiving, and when the noise fades you are left alone with your thoughts.
And in those quiet moments, the questions start.
As Matthew Lane wrote... where can I wash? Where can I feel safe? Questions so many of us never have to ask. Questions that for too many people in our communities are just another part of the day.
Laura Telford put it simply. She could go home the next morning to warmth, comfort and safety. For far too many people that is not temporary. It is their reality.
Caroline Noble said you cannot really explain the atmosphere. But experiencing even a tiny fraction of what some people face every single day brings so many emotions.
And Dan Jenner, recording a reflection at 4am, said it best of all. Seeing is believing. It is only by getting close enough that you begin to understand.
We are not pretending that one night changes everything. But we do believe that when people get even a glimpse of that reality, something shifts in them. And that shift matters.
To every person who has ever found themselves without a safe place to sleep, these photos are for you. You are the reason every single one of these people chose to be here💙🌙
Thank you to each and everyone of you for showing up!
