Thoughts 💭 3/12/26: Small details continue to be my favorites. It’s almost impossible for me to avoid them when creating a work of art. I get caught up in every little tiny line, then I’m transported to a place that’s more peaceful. A place where the rest of the mess doesn’t matter. A place where the big picture isn’t important at all. Is that where I should live all of the time? Maybe not. But it does remind me that it’s best to appreciate the tiny things IRL too! 💕
2016 ✨💫 was a dreamy time in my life and my business. I was one year into being a full time artist, a newlywed, traveling, doing collaborations with bloggers, photographers, and travel companies, doing art markets, spent my first summer session at @penlandschool for @blrothshank ’s Painting Small and Often, spent time with my cherished and deeply missed soulmates in Molly and King, worked on multiple series of paintings, released my first tee design, and was just genuinely loving life. I will be using this glimpse back as a way to remind myself that anything is possible so to the right mindset 🥹💚

The soundtrack in my head sometimes does go this quickly especially if I’m racing to finish a painting before a deadline. But nothing takes away from the joy I have in creating custom paintings for customers. I absolutely loved working on this 5x7 inch gem for @ecoops_17 💚🩵😻
