A small paycheck — from a story that asked to be written.
Years ago, life opened a door to the Peruvian jungle.
Three months, 19 ceremonies, and a deeper understanding followed.
Later, the book wrote itself. Eventually, a publisher found it.
Creativity moves through us - anyway- when space is made.
Creativity not necessarily follows the plan — but it always leaves a trace.
For anyone wondering if the leap is worth it:

Eine Nährwerttabelle beschreibt die natürlichen Nährwerte eines Lebensmittels. Dazu gehören unter anderem Fett, Kohlenhydrate, davon Zucker, Ballaststoffe, Eiweiß, Salz und Kalorien.

Und genau hier entsteht immer wieder ein Missverständnis:
Wenn bei „davon Zucker“ ein Wert steht, bedeutet das nicht automatisch, dass zugesetzter raffinierter Zucker enthalten ist.
.
Denn natürliche Lebensmittel enthalten von Natur aus Zucker.
Eine Erdbeere enthält natürlichen Zucker. Eine Kartoffel enthält natürlichen Zucker. Haferflocken enthalten natürlichen Zucker.
Selbst Spinat enthält natürliche Zuckerbestandteile🌿.

Diese Werte müssen in der Nährwerttabelle ganz normal angegeben werden.

Ob einem Produkt Zucker zugesetzt wurde, erkennt ihr deshalb immer an der Zutatenliste, nicht allein an der Nährwerttabelle.
.
Wenn dort kein raffinierter Zucker aufgeführt ist, dann stammt der angegebene Zuckergehalt ausschließlich aus den natürlichen Ursprungszutaten selbst💚🌾🙏🏻.
.
Uns war es heute einfach wichtig, dieses Thema einmal verständlich zu erklären, weil viele Menschen mittlerweile so verunsichert sind, dass allein das Wort „Zucker“ in der Nährwerttabelle sofort negativ bewertet wird, obwohl es sich oft einfach um den ganz natürlichen Zuckergehalt echter Lebensmittel handelt.
.
Und ehrlich: Lasst uns dankbar sein, dass es heutzutage überhaupt noch Produkte gibt, die wirklich aus reinen Ursprungszutaten bestehen. In einer Welt voller Zusatzstoffe, zugesetztem Zucker, Aromen und hochverarbeiteter Lebensmittel ist das leider längst keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr🙏🏻💚✨.
