A favourite of ours and the perfect testing ground for the new @dji Avata 360. Showing our coastline in a slightly new perspective.

What do you call them and what do they mean to you?
Cookworthy Knapp is of course, just over the border into Devon but most people associate them with coming to Cornwall. A sight for sore eyes if, like me, you have to work away from gods county so often!

Polperro is a stunning seaside village on the south coast of Cornwall, situated between Looe and Fowey. This stretch of coast has some of Cornwallâs most challenging coast path and certainly up there with the toughest on the south coast!
Have you been to Polperro this year?

A little slice of summer for your Sunday morning. St Ives looking as dreamy as ever from above with its perfect waters and sandy harbour.
Hard to believe this was last summer⊠but it wonât be long before days like this are back again.
Who else is counting down to some summer sunshine? đ
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a castle?
Perched proudly above St Maryâs Harbour and Hugh Town, the iconic Star Castle Hotel overlooks the heart of the Isles of Scilly. Surrounded by the historic Garrison fortifications, itâs a place where sweeping sea views meet centuries of history.
We stayed in one of the garden suites, just moments from the hotelâs beautiful Vine Restaurant. From our private terrace, the views stretched endlessly across Samson, Bryher and Tresco, shifting with the light throughout the day.
Star Castle really is a walkerâs dream. Step straight onto the Garrison coastal path or wander down to the quayside for a day of island hopping.
If youâve ever wanted to experience a castle stay by the sea, this is your sign. Head over to @starcastlehotel to discover it for yourself.

This weeks view from up high is over the viaduct at St Germans. Originally an Isambard Kingdom Brunel structure the wooden viaduct was replaced with this stone viaduct in 1908.

This weeks views come from the beautiful Kynance. Does anyone know what the storms have done to the sand level down there?

This morning's view from the air comes from the southcoasts most picturesque (and challenging) beaches. If you've ventured down to Lantic Bay, you'll appreciate that the trek back up to the coastpath is a killer!â
â
One thing we like to remind people is to 'take pictures' but only leave footprints', and this beach is one that needs the sentiment the most. Rubbish seems to wash up on Lantic Bay quite frequently, and we've also seen things being left on the beach on each visit too. It's unfortunate, and if you could take a spare bag and some litter back home with you, we can keep these beautiful places as nature intended đ

I've been sharing a lot from my own account @walkingdrone recently, and to all the other fantastic drone photographers around Cornwall, sorry! I will get back to sharing more of your images soon. I've been working away in the Middle East, longer than expected and have had limited access, so everything's been scheduled!â

Last summer, we captured this impressive view of Holywell Bay at low tide, which shows how prone our beaches can be to strong rip currents. While this might not be the time of year people tend to go in the sea, it's never a bad time to talk about rip currents.â
â
To identify them, look for areas where the water is calmer or where the surf suddenly seems to extend further out, along with channels of churning water or debris moving swiftly seaward. As seen in this darker waveless outlet in the centre of the beach.â
â
If caught in a rip current, stay calm and avoid trying to swim against it. Instead, swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the current, then swim back to the beach safely. Remember to always pay attention to local warnings and swim near lifeguards.â
