Better grab your tickets, @walkerroaders are bringing the Celtic-punk party THIS TUESDAY, March 17. James Fearnley (The Pogues), Ted Hutt (Flogging Molly/Dropkick Murphys producer), and Marc Orrell (Dropkick Murphys) are taking the stage, and yes, @teelingwhiskey will be there pouring. Healdsburg, raise your glass, stomp your boots, and celebrate St. Patrick’s with the best! 🥃 Tickets at the link-in-bio
We had such a heartening time at this place ...a year ago? No, a couple of years ago. Standing room only, all the way to the back (well, there would be no seats). A lovely part of the country when it's not on fire and where wine flows out of the rocks. You could almost imagine everything is going on as normal.
Anonymous love poem from 1310 that contains the line (arrow)
"Bituene Lyncolne ant Lyndeseye, Norhamptoun ant Lounde".
James nicked this for the opening line of new single "Singing School", streaming now.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel, chronologically speaking.
"We're keeping our eyes on
The distant horizon
We're riding along
On the crest of a wave"
Monitory single from The Walker Roaders - "Singing School" - came out a couple of days ago. Have a listen on whatever platform doesn't make you jangle with moral dissonance.
