I DO, however, like to shine light on creatives and artsy projects that I believe are heart-centric - and after taking note of Hyperlux's editorial staff (many of whom FOR YEARRRRS have tirelessly championed artists via their own galleries, curation and art journalism efforts) - I realized whoaaa, this seems like a special project worthy of some love.
So many of their staff members go the extra mile to elevate the profile of uniquely creative underdogs, which clearly explains why John Walker's / @walkerbrushworks wonderful acrylic painting "The Thief of Time" is gracing their inaugural issue⌛️🐇 (He TOTALLY deserves the spotlight!)
It takes a highly dedicated village to pull together a substance-filled art publication (and then promote it), so fingers crossed that my teensie little post will cast a few decent SEO spider webs for the lovely human beings behind Hyperlux ☺･ ﾟ*｡🕸️･ﾟ★｡☺

Something new on the easel. Not just the painting but also the surface I’m working on. I’ve painted on panels that I prepare for years but decided to change things up using a portrait canvas with a fine texture. Mounted on panel, because I’m not looking for that stretcher bounce, it is a different feel for sure. Detail from a 12x12” for a show down the road.
