On Monday, April 27 at 6:30PM, step into the World of Walker’s WOW[1], an evening of works by Walker Smith, other CCRMA friends, and some aliens from planets outside of CCRMA. The performances will be very diverse, but all center on themes of whimsy, humor, absurdity, pineapples, inter/multi-media and crossing traditional performance genre boundaries, experimenting with audience/performer boundaries, breaking reality, confusing people, confusing animals, confusing technology, and confusing ourselves.
The event will begin with an outdoor performance in the CCRMA Courtyard right at 6:30pm, after which we will migrate up to the Stage for the main program (with a RECEPTION and PARTY to follow). The concert will feature performances by Constantin Basica, Hassan Estakhrian, Héloïse Garry, Mike Mulshine, Pauline Mornet, Alice Grace, Cat Fergesen, Summer Krinsky, Kiran Bhat, Siqi Chen, Michelle Chen, Lejun Min, Zac Dulkin, and the titular “Walker Smith.”
Free and open to public.

It was such an honor to perform my show, “The Sound of Molecules,” as a guest of the Project Fibonacci Foundation Inc. 2023 STEAM Leadership Conference ESTEAMed Speaker Series this summer!
This year’s STEAM Scholars cohort was such an amazing group of creative and talented students with incredibly bright futures, and it was such a great experience to share my work with them and answer their questions after the show! Huge thanks to the Rome Free Academy for hosting this, and to the Project Fibonacci Foundation for the invitation to speak!
