Not a beer drinker? No worries (we’re only judging a little). Waldmann offers an excellent selection of red, white, rosĂ©, and sparkling options, all pairing perfectly with a summer evening on the bier(wein)garten. Our new selections run the gamut ‘twixt comforting favorites (unoaked Chardonnay, anyone?) and adventurous delights! (A delicious Picpoul de Pinet! Ever heard of it?) For summer, we’ve brought in a sparkling rosĂ©, a fabulously subtle California Cab, and an unrivaled, biodynamic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo; perfect for our heartier food options. In other words, you can’t possibly go wrong with this wine! By the bottle or by the glass. Join us! đŸ·

Let’s talk Flammkuchen! Directly translated as “flame cake”, it is a traditional appetizer served with white wine in French đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Alsace and German đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș Mosel on either side of the border area formerly known as Alsace-Lorraine. Our twist on this regional classic comes in two styles (stile). The classic KĂ€sestil; sautĂ©ed onion, Muenster cheese, chopped bacon, and green onion over a base of delicious dill cream sauce And our very own Waldstil; a melange of roasted mushrooms and goat cheese, topped with fresh arugula and balsamico. Enjoy with friends or crush one of these beauties all by yourself, though honestly, we recommend the latter đŸ˜™đŸ»

This Easter, we’re resurrecting an old favorite
 All hail the return of the Berliner Weisse! This traditional, kettle-soured wheat beer is the perfect accompaniment the glorious return of spring and the joy and hope it brings with it! Try this beauty with traditional Waldmeister Woodruff syrup (green) or our haus-made mixed berry syrup! Remember, our special hours tomorrow are 10am-5pm and we’re featuring and đŸ„š đŸ„š bake and the holiday classic ham with potatoes and roasted vegetables đŸ„•! Amen to that! đŸ™đŸŒ

A blessed Good Friday to all who observe! Avoiding meat today? Avail yourself of our new meatless offerings! Our Nordstern Niçoise is a play on the classic salade đŸ‡«đŸ‡· invoking the flavors of spring with a light citrus-Dijon vinaigrette, sweet cherry tomatoes, tangy Kalamata olives, fresh green beans and soft fingerling potatoes, graced with a flash of pink in our oak-smoked salmon- replacing the traditional tuna. 🐟 Feeling woodsy? Try our new Waldstil (forest-style) Flammkuchen (flame-cake, but just call it a flatbread) with a base of dill yogurt sauce, generously spread with roasted mushrooms and goat cheese, baked and topped with fresh arugula and balsamic vinaigrette! Don’t forget to join us for our special Easter hours; 10am-5pm, and enjoy our new menu as well as our holiday specials of sliced ham over mashed potatoes and vegetables, or a pretzel egg bake! 🐣 🐰

Try the Waldstil (forest-style) with roasted mushrooms, goat cheese, arugula and balsamic vinegar, or bite into the KĂ€sestil (cheese-style) featuring Muenster, sautĂ©ed onions, bacon, and fresh green onion! Also, one of our favorite new offerings, Everything and the Lake! An incredible everything bagel from @bakersfieldflourandbread of MPLS with a generous smear of caper-dill-paprika cream cheese, layered with Nordic oak-smoked salmon, pickled onion, and a slice of lemon!
