HOW TO: Wakesurf 360! Have you ever heard of the “elusive 360?” This is what many wakesurfers call the 360 because there are many moving parts to ensure you are being consistent with your movements! If you want to master the 360, follow my account and check out baileyrushsurf.com for more tips! There are multiple fundamentals that are required prior to landing a 360 with ease and consistency! 1) Always start at the back of the wave and stay nice and aligned with the wave so that you’re able to come into the trick straight. 2) It’s very important that you’re using your back foot as a pivot point. You need to activate the rotation by using this pressure. 3) Most of the weight will come off of your front foot while rotating. Think of your front foot as a guide, and your back foot as a pivot. 4) Put the weight back on your front foot once you are around to ensure you are going back to normal surf stance in the pocket of the wave. 5) Always look where you want to go. Notes: It’s key to have your upper body and lower body working together. The more your body is working as a cohesive kinetic chain, the more powerful your movements will be!
