@waitdowhatnow のミニアルバム『Bangkok Blues』のカセットテープが出来上がりました！
ビジュアルアーティストでもあるアーティスト自身でアルバムデザイン、カセットのアートワークも全て担当してくれて、今はミュージック・ビデオも作成してくれてるそうで楽しみです♪
今作は静謐で暖かみのあるアンビエント作品で、ジャケットに使われた写真の女性、60年代前半に祖国タイからアメリカに渡ったアーティストの祖母 Puangpetch "Ree" Hunsapant を思い作られた郷愁的でロマンティックなアルバムです。ベーシストとして参加されていた Lotus Plaza のセカンドアルバム『Spooky Action at a Distance』 (Kranky) もLockett Pundt が祖母に捧げた優しくて美しいアルバムでした。今こうやって細やかではありますが名付けてくれたレーベルでリリースさせて頂ける事がとても嬉しいです。

The cassette tape, Hanu Hansa 【Bangkok Blues】, will be out on Friday, November 7th. The artist designed all the artwork, and we are excited to hear that he is working on the music video!
This is a serene and heartwarming ambient music, dedicated to the woman in the jacket photo, the artist's grandmother, Puangpetch "Ree" Hunsapant, who left Thailand for the United States in the early 1960s. Lotus Plaza's 【Spooky Action at a Distance】, which he played as a bassist, was also a beautiful album, that Lockett Pundt made for his grandmother. This time, even in this modest way, we are incredibly happy to release 【Bangkok Blues】on our label as he named.
Regarding sales, we are a tiny label, so we rely on the generous support of knowledgeable store owners. For the first month after release, the album will be available exclusively at the stores. We will announce it again but be sure to check both physical stores and online shops of each participating retailer.
And more than that, Bobby Power, one of the owners of the Atlanta-based label Geographic North ( /?force-web ) has written Hanu Hansa's introduction and the album commentary on our website. Geographic North is a really nice label! Please read it and check their brilliant music too.
