Marbling the edges of the pages of a book! 😰 I have to say, I was holding my breath with each dip on this one. But I loved how it turned out! Watch to the end for the reveal! Each marbled fabric notebook is finished by hand, by me 🙋🏼♀️ The slow, repetitive pace of bookbinding is so satisfying to me, I love seeing all the parts come together into a beautiful tactile cloth-bound notebook, and then adding someone’s personalised name or initials to make it extra special 💛 These are all available in my SHOP link in my bio x

📆 Sat 7th & Sun 8th November, 2-5pm GMT (available worldwide!)
Delivered over 2x 3hr sessions, spread across 2 days, this live online workshop with Charlotte introduces traditional hardback, case-binding with fabric. Participants will learn to sew signatures, add endpapers, line a book block, create bookcloth from beautiful fabrics, and construct a durable cover. The workshop also explores finishing details like creating rolled cloth endbands and adding marker ribbons, while Charlotte demonstrates each step and explains material and construction choices. Suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.
