The reality of it is I found burlesque at a low point. COVID shut down a musical I had been working on for the third time and performing has always been my truest home. I had a recent diagnosis that was weighing on me and everything was... bleek.
My older sibling mel drug me to go to a drag show, the old @evowonderlounge pretty surr ot was hosted by @lilithfairyyc and there was a pop up by a local burlesque icon @prairicherri ... it blew my mind this beautiful woman, strip teasing in beautiful costume, and It was like id caught a fever.
I immediately enrolled in a free beta class by @missindigoblue and learned my history and developed a character... the rest is history.
