“Leaves” in steel
This work explores modularity as a temporal system.
Each unit echoes a leaf, but also a fragment of a larger field —
repeated, shifted, and tensioned into a thin curved surface.
Oxidation introduces another layer:
time as a relationship, rather than a fixed condition.
What appears as color is actually duration.
What appears as surface is a layered interaction between material and environment.
