A little Story, immediately , @hollyandroo had first pitched the design idea to me I knew it was definitely something i wanted to be a part of. Holly is a true Artist, so it’s always a pleasure working with the brother. This piece is really nostalgic not just because it pays homage to the Ancestral swagger & style of the GOAT, Fela Kuti but because it also highlights cultural emblems and insignias particularly of Western Nigeria. Their indigenous creative mechanics and just tapping into all of it really aided in bringing this masterpiece to life. Crazy how in all these moments, I unconsciously pause to pinch myself , because this is a brand i started with nothing but faith, audacity and 20 dollars in Port Harcourt. Looking back, I’m grateful for the journey, the support and goodwill from y’ll on here. ready for what it takes in this new chapter. Don’t forget, you too can do it, just start where you are.
