Last night, we gathered clients, peers, and collaborators at the Mason Studio Cultural Hub to mark the official launch of The Light Room.
Envisioned as a platform for cultural exchange, research, and collaboration, The Light Room is designed to bring people together across disciplines and perspectives. It reflects our belief that design gains meaning when space is opened, tested, and collectively experienced.
The evening unfolded alongside our Lunar New Year celebration to welcome in a year of momentum, clarity and vitality!

An evening shaped by light, food and storytelling.
Yesterday, Mason Studio Cultural Hub transformed into a Yuàn, a courtyard in spirit, where guests gathered around a shared table as illumination moved gently through the space.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable night and to the incredible team @yandiningroom and @vyvydlighting that made this evening possible. We can’t wait to set the table again tonight.
As a reminder, this installation, The Light Room, remains open when dinner is not in session as part of @designtofestival :

A lot of attention went into keeping the light integrated and understated, so it works with the architecture instead of fighting for attention.

Bold and striking vibes at @yokai.izakaya , where the washroom design features a pop of neon and a dramatic lighting approach. The @tala Voronoi bulb casts a warm glow that contrasts with the red neon, creating a moody, unforgettable atmosphere. Every detail, from the reflective surfaces to the intricate lighting, is designed to immerse guests in a unique experience.

Stepping into the washroom hallway at @yokai.izakaya feels like entering another dimension.
